Hello, I’m Araminta (“Minty”).

I’m neurodivergent. Autistic, specifically. Not disabled, not retarded, not handicapped, not unintelligent, not uneducated. Now learning to trade with my sometimes-different perspectives.

I’m a recent graduate of Falmouth University, in lovely Cornwall, UK, but I can’t speak Kernewek. Not many people can.

Hi! What sort of writer are you? Apart from “a creative one”.

That may stand you in pretty good stead. The incidence of neurodiversity on trading-floors is much higher than among the general population, and some financial institutions now have neurodivergence-specific recruitment processes to try to attract people with sometimes-different perspectives.

I’m one of Falmouth’s many not-yet-published novelists. :blush:

I’ve been all through the lessons once, before I joined, and am now going through some of them again.

They’re really well written by someone with a nice sense of humour. I find them difficult, though. I think I probably need to open a practice account and play around with it.
